The State College of Humanitarian Education serves as the Education Faculty of Ignita Veritas University, which has dual meaning as the faculty for preparing qualified professional educators, and also for providing general education in diverse areas of academic knowledge.
This Education Faculty is named for and characterized by its dedication to fulfilling the mandate of international law for promoting human rights of access to education, and promoting education supporting human rights, under the 1966 Covenant on Economic Social and Cultural Rights (Articles 13.1, 13.2(c)) and the 2008 UN Human Rights Council (HRC) Resolution 8/4: Right to Education (Article 7:(a),(e),(f),(i)).
Studies under this faculty can result in the following traditional degrees in Education, ranging from graduate level up to post-doctorate “professorship” level:
Education studies concentrate on developing practical skills for real-world development of academic instruction materials, courses and curricula for educational institutions, with professional skills for teaching and training, career counseling, and administration. Graduates of Education degree programs often employed in instruction, research, administration, or professional positions in universities, educational institutions, civil society organizations, government contracting institutions, and governmental agencies.
The Education Faculty also offers a “double degree” program, combining both science and education degrees, which is rare because it requires close cooperation between different University Faculties. This results in the following highly specialized degrees:
These degrees are earned through full traditional studies in the chosen field of Science, with additional specialized courses for a Major in Education, such that graduates are established as both a scientist and also professional educator in their field of science.

The State College of Humanitarian Education also operates an essential humanitarian mission of IV University, in partnership with the Emergency Relief Agency (ERA), an autonomous Official Body of Ignita Veritas United (IVU) as an inter-governmental organization (IGO). This “Mobile Faculty” division provides education in humanitarian relief areas, upholding the human rights of access to education for those burdened by humanitarian crises, teaching through mobile on-site schools or remote field operations.
Victims of humanitarian crises often suffer the loss of or separation from family members, the loss or destruction of their homes, and sometimes forced separation from their home country and its culture. In addition, they are also deprived of access to education, causing them to lose many years of preparation for gainful employment, or preventing them from training for new forms of employment in a foreign country. That further deprives them of the basic human rights to work to earn a living, and to thereby reconnect with or reestablish a family. By providing the necessary general education, this Education Faculty empowers crisis victims with the hope, knowledge and skills to rebuild their lives, and to restore their individual contributions to civil society.
Children’s education concentrates on intellectual development and basic skills preparing for further learning, supporting self-motivation by providing satisfaction in knowledge and in one’s growing academic abilities. The independent Inter-Governmental Accreditation Commission (IGAC) determines and facilitates issuing the relevant academic diplomas documenting the equivalent primary, secondary or high school education achieved in field conditions.
Adult education concentrates on occupational skills training and technical education, developing practical career qualifications preparing for employment in a trade or craft in diverse manufacturing, transportation, product and service industries. Vocational education is supported by essential literacy training, including in English as a foreign language, to facilitate access to employment opportunities in multiple countries and constructive integration into a foreign country of residence. The independent Inter-Governmental Accreditation Commission (IGAC) determines and facilitates issuing the relevant qualification diplomas documenting the equivalent vocational education achieved in field conditions.
The Mobile Faculty of the State College of Humanitarian Education generally applies the Montessori teaching methods, as the most effective way to transform field conditions into positive factors enhancing education. Such methods include mixed-age class groups, choice of activity from available options (to encourage interest in learning overcoming situational distractions), the “discovery” model of learning concepts from working with materials (to overcome language barriers while also facilitating learning English as a foreign language), and freedom of movement within the classroom area (alleviating discomfort from field conditions).
